lesl junior trap team
Our Junior Trap League is for girls & boys, ages 10 - 18 years of age. We have approximately 25-35 youth annually participating in our clay target trapshooting program offering opportunities to compete in local, regional, state, and national events. We are a member of: Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and the Amateur Trapshooting Association's (ATA) youth program, Academics, Integrity, and Marksmanship (AIM).
Our junior trapshooting program encourages good sportsmanship and personal responsibility through competition to promote opportunities for young athletes to safely and enjoyably participate in a high quality, team-based shooting sport. Our goal is to help these youth reach their potential of being the best athletes, leaders and young adults they can be.
The junior program is coached and mentored by trained and certified volunteer coaches.
This program is made possible in part by grants received from the Friends of NRA Foundation, The National Wild Turkey Federation, The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and many loyal local businesses and families that contribute to our program annually.
